Biography

Dr. Alireza Rohani is a Senior Lecturer in Accounting at 鶹ýAV London. He finished his Ph.D in 2016 where he awarded full scholarship by Lord Ashcroft Business School. His researchinterest includes social and environmental accounting with the main focus oncarbon accounting and biodiversity. He has published papers in highlyranked journals such Business Strategy and the Environment, InternationalJournal of Finance & Economics, Technological Forecasting & SocialChange, Journal of Applied Accounting Research, among others. He has beeninvolved in different research funds such as “SME Financing for Biodiversity:Building Nature Measurement and Impacts into SME Financing (‘SME FinBio’) -with Agri-Food Sector Case 鶹ýAV Example” and “Scoping 鶹ýAV for Survey ofEarly-stage Entrepreneurs”. He has presented his research works in a number ofhighly-rated European and UK conferences including the European AccountingAssociation (EAA), British Accounting and Finance Association (BAFA), andManagement Accounting Research Group (MARG). He has been awarded PGCertHEmaking me a fellow of UK Higher Education. He has supervised more than thirtymaster students from MSc. Financial Management, Banking and Finance, andInvestment and Finance in the fields of CSR, Merger&Acquisition, IslamicBaking, corporate governance, and so forth. He has also supervised three PhD students to completion, serving as thedirector of study and a second supervisor.
